We’re a husband - and - wife team building vehicle-ready emergency + injury kits that actually get used - with two pit bulls, Jed and Robert, riding shotgun. 🐾
We spend a lot of time on the road - four wheeling, traveling, and vending at off-road/overland events and gun shows across the West. We build and pack kits around the stuff we actually see happen: busted knuckles, cuts, burns, dead batteries, wrong turns, bad weather, and “this is going to be a long night.”
Most “emergency kits” are junk-drawer bags - random stuff, hard to find, and useless when you’re stressed, cold, or bleeding.
Rig Ready Gear exists so you’re not digging through chaos when it matters.
Our kits are organized, vehicle-ready, fast to use, and built for real-world problems.
Why we built this
We didn’t start Rig Ready Gear because we wanted another “tactical brand.”
We built it because we watched people (and ourselves) do the same thing over and over:
- Buy a bag
- Throw random items in it
- Forget where anything is
- Then realize in the moment… it’s not a plan
So we built the kits we wanted in our own rigs:

- Grab-and-go layout so you can find things fast
- Real-world coverage for breakdowns + injuries (not fantasy scenarios)
